The best way to understand "high bandwidth" versus "low bandwidth" is to think like a plumber, in terms of the width of a pipe. City water mains are much wider than the drain pipe under your bathroom sink. More can pass through the city water main in less time. A television program is "media rich," with images, sound, music.
